Monday afternoon they traveled to the beautiful Echo Lake Country Club, to play one of the top 20 golf teams in the state, Westfield. Westfield was on their game and beat the Tigers 199-222. Coach Kavka said he still had some good scores from his players on a strange course. The low rounds for the day were Billy Padulla--40, Dan DeAndrea--42, Frank Gaspari--43, Billy Weaver--45 and Peter DeAndrea--46.
The team left for Ocean City, Maryland for a few days to improve their golf skills. The next match will be Monday against Johathan Dayton Regional at Baltusrol in Springfield, the site of four U.S. Opens.
Jimmy Bataille, playing a practice round, had very rare hole-in-one on the par-4 fourth hole - most holes-in-one occur on the shorter par 3's.
