Golf Team Wins Three More!
The Tiger Golf Team began the week with an easy win 154-198 at home against Woodbridge on May 5. They were led
by two seniors, Brad Martin and Vinnie Padula, who both shot 37's at the West Nine.
The team traveled to Hyatt Hills in Clark on May 6 to face a strong Johnson Regional team. The team came away with a
close 168-172 win. Low score was turned in by senior Vinnie Padula. Coach Kavka was able to bring four extra players and they all turned in good scores.
Next up was Division Four Woodbridge and the Tigers won again. This time due to a threat of lightning in the area, the
match was only five holes. The team was disappointed with only playing five holes, but safety always comes first.
On Monday, May 12 the team competed in the South Central Jersey Group II Tournament at Centerton. Results will
appear next week. The team also has matches every day from May 13-16.
